Solution:

Simplify the numerator using Rule 1: tex2html_wrap_inline37 .

tex2html_wrap_inline33 can now be written tex2html_wrap_inline41 ; it can be simplified further using Rule 2 to tex2html_wrap_inline43. You can also have written the answer as tex2html_wrap_inline45.
