Rule 26:
To multiply add or subtract two complex fractions, convert the fractions to simple fractions and follow the steps you use to add or subtract two simple fractions.

Problem 2:

Solution:
Simplify the complex fraction tex2html_wrap_inline70 . By now you know that the easiest way to convert this fraction to a simple fraction is to multiply it by 1 in the form tex2html_wrap_inline72 because operation will remove the 3 and the 4.

The problem tex2html_wrap_inline66 can now be written tex2html_wrap_inline78 .

Build each fraction to equivalent fractions with denominators of 6.
