Finding an equation of a perpendicular line that passing through a point
its the Linear Equations in XI Grade so i got this problem...!!!! when i was solving this problem then its stuck in my mind....so here is the problem:

The point (1;2) is on the line that is perpendicular to the line x+y-1=0. Determine the equation of the perpendicular line

Please don't hijack another thread.

Topic split.

What is the slope of that line?
If you can't answer that, you're not ready for this type of problem...see your teacher.

Amit, all you do here boils down to "sneaky advertizing".
Hope a Moderator bars you.

I tend to agree, however, it's not so off-topic as all that right now. I think he needs to start posting his problems rather than linking them so much, but other than that there's no problem currently.

This was a hijack bumper (original topic #54994), and yes amit28it has done a few bumpers with sneaky URLs. Splitting is the exception, deleting is the norm (I can recall at least two or three of amit28it's sneaky bumps that I deleted).

Just so you know.

Looks like planetbob is a random 1-poster, didn't even stay long enough to read your reply.

I see, well then it is now manifest that amit28it is on our radar, so let us not spend too much time discussing it in this topic, which is well within normal guidelines, if somewhat distastefully done.

His sneaked-in clickons all lead to: http:/ /www.mathcaptain.com/

So he either owns that site...or works for owner...

Edit (outermeasure): added space to break URL parsing.
