I get this strong idea that students at these mathematical competitions
are not being sequestered from Internet technology. They should have
no access to the Internet for their exercises.**
S.O.S. has had many cheaters getting answers or trying to get answers.
Why is any competion even being run like that in the first place which
allows that? No questions should be carrying over outside of a competition's
walls. If there are any breaks while at them, the people monitoring them
must be watching what the competitors are doing.
** unless this is some sort of a specially designated test
where they have to look up information on the Internet,
but then there is much less oversight from the tester(s)
