for example... microsoft windows has a pre-loaded calculator that you can do a fair ammount of calculations. Does anyone know of or have programs that are a bit more detailed? I want to be able to enter an equation, tell it to how many decimal places (for example: to the 50th place of pi) and have it solve it. You know, like super-computer style :)

Programs that do more than just that..... sooo the question is.... are there programs, where can you get them, and how good are they.

Yah mathematica seems pretty damn powerful..
I've got ver 4.1 here somewhere but I'm not really sure how to use it...

I found if i want to draw graphs to show people then windows XP powertoys comes with PowerCalc, which can plot pretty much any graph you like. Even has polar plotting mode.
