 Post subject: Is anybody celebrating Pi day today?

Back when I was in grad school, the math department would celebrate Pi Day by gathering together for no reason other than to have pie and ice cream. Great times. (This was back when there was enough money to do these kinds of things.)

We still have enough money for that, but barely.

Since we are on spring break today, my Calculus class had pi(e) each of the last 3 Fridays.

In 5 years, we'll really have a pi day: 3/14/16.
