HI

i was wondering if you could help as for the life of me i am unable to solve this equations. the equation is as follows:

let F(x,y)=√x .arctany+√(∏+x).ln(1+y²), (x,y) ∈ [0,∏]xR.

Prove that for every a∈(0,∏) and every b∈R, the initial value problem y'(x)=F(x,y), y(a)=b has a unique solution on the interval (0,∏).

hint (2y≤ y²+1)

that is the question. i hope that someone can help me with this as i am battling to even get started on this equation.

regards
diffsloser
