 Post subject: Elements in a table

i'm confused as usual. i know in each row and column cannot have the same element twice. but if aa=e and bb does not equal e then wont e be in a row or column twice?

If you're doing number 4, then all of them have xx=e, so bb=e is guaranteed.

No, that's not possible, inverses are unique, a is its own inverse, as is c its own, and b its own.
