We ask that you follow these guidelines when you post (or respond to) a challenge problem:

(1) If appropriate, please indicate what mathematical background is needed to solve your problem.

(2) Homework problems do not belong in this forum; we have many other forums dedicated to homework help. Moreover, problems whose method of solution can be found in commonly used textbooks (e.g., Stewart's Calculus) do not belong here.

(3) If you submit a solution, then please use the hide/show feature so as not to spoil the fun for other readers.

(4) Absolutely do not post any competition problems unless their solutions have been officially published.

(5) A violation of these guidelines may result in deletion of your post and you earning a warning.

Happy posting!

Edit: Added number 5. ~Shadow

Edit 2: Added warning to #5. ~outermeasure
