I think the kindness of the response is reflected in the quality of the original post, as trivial as that may seem. People are more willing to explain and go into depth if they feel like theyre actually HELPING someone. From what ive noticed, people with somewhat respectful and humble attitudes who refuse to be spoon fed the answer are met with great generosity, whereas those who post "Solve x^3 + 7x^2- 9 =0" are naturally met with some resentment on the tutors side. Nothing is more frustrating to a teacher than to discover that their students dont care to understand or actually learn what is being taught to them...
Lesson learned : One person's inability to deal with some resentment doesnt make us all jerks
