Can't figure out this last question. I had help from my dad the other day and I lost my notes, all I can find is that we somehow got the answer as 9cm^2..

If anyone could help me out by solving this showing the work. Thanks in advance!

"The side length, s, of a cube is related to its volume, V, by the formula s=V ^1/3. A cube box when filled with materials has a volume of 729cm^2. What is the side length of the cube box used?"

You have the correct answer numerically, but your units are off.

First, the volume must be in cubic cm (cm^3).

The formula is V = s^3, so what number cubed is 729? This is the same as asking for the cube root of 729, which is 9 cm (it must be a length, so it cannot be cm^2, which would be an area).
