1. light travels at a speed of 3.0x10^10 cm/sec. what is the speed of light in feet per hour?

2. a recipe for onion soup to serve 30 people requries 4.2 pounds of onions. you are giving a dinner party for 18 people. how many pounds of onions do you need to make onion soup for the 18 guests?
